Junior Leadership members host event at fairgrounds

(OSGOOD, Ind.) -- The Ripley County 4-H Junior Leadership team is helping the next generation understand what 4-H is all about.

Kindergartners through second graders were invited to the fairgrounds to participate in Mini 4-H Day on Saturday.

The Junior Leadership members held programs such as showing animals, crafts, flower planting, and games. There was also time for discussion where the youngsters asked questions.

Junior Leadership is comprised of area high schoolers who have been long-tenured 4-H'ers.

Last month, they hosted a Showmanship clinic for area youth interested in livestock showing.
