Celebrate our area on August 12
(SOUTHEAST INDIANA) – August 12 (a.k.a. 812 Day) is our favorite day of the year!
812 Day is a chance to celebrate our area code while giving back. This year will mark the third year we have helped organize unique give-back opportunities on August 12.
Each year, Mary Jutzi at Batesville Products, Inc. in Lawrenceburg designs a shirt that is available for purchase.
They cost only $12 and the deadline to order is Sunday, July 28.
What makes Southeast Indiana special is the amazing people, places and things. We live in an area full of people who help others – so why not celebrate our area code by doing what we do best?
On 812 Day on August 12, we are encouraging people to organize a grassroots project to improve their community.
Whether that is improving a community eyesore, volunteering around town or doing something for your neighbor, we would love to know how you plan to celebrate 812 Day.
