(CINCINNATI) – We’ve all heard about the closures of Frisch’s restaurants across the Tri-State.
Greensburg’s franchise closed earlier this month and the Frisch’s in Lawrenceburg is expected to close on December 22.
What happens to those iconic statues that are at those restaurants?
Rob Stone is a Northern Kentucky photographer who often drives around the backroads of Southeast Indiana seeking unique, hidden gems.
“When I see something like a dilapidated home, I know a lot of people might see it as an eyesore, but it causes me to pause and think of all the families that may have lived here, or the memories that were made there,” Stone said.
He happened to come across the Frisch’s ‘Big Boy Graveyard’ in Cincinnati where dozens of statues are behind a gated area.
