1 dead, 1 missing after cabin swept away by flooding

Search teams are continuing efforts Saturday

UPDATE:

Officials will continue searching for a missing woman following flooding on Wolf Creek Road near Brookville Friday.

A cabin was swept away after heavy rains moved through the area.

The body of one man was found within two hours of the search, however, the female is still missing.

Crews called off the search due to excessive heat around 6 p.m. Friday.

The search resumes at 7 a.m. Saturday.

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) -- The body of one person has been recovered following flooding on Wolf Creek Road outside of Brookville.

Search teams remain in the area searching for at least one person.

Franklin County Coroner Brian Baxter says they recovered a male body and are searching for a female.
