Batesville Casket Cup set for November 4

Registration deadline is October 7

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- A unique kids soccer tournament will take place in Batesville on Saturday, November 4.

The Batesville Soccer Club Casket Cup is a 3-on-3 style tournament where kids design their own Halloween themed uniforms and make up team names.

"Teams are made up of a max of 4 players and we try to have as little coach involvement as possible," organizers said.

There are divisions from 8U up to 14U for both boys and girls. There is also 16U, 18U and adult teams who can register.

Each team is guaranteed at least 3 games and the games are made up of two 12 minute halves and are played on small field with the small 4x8 goals.

There are trophies for each division champion and runner-up as well as the famous chocolate caskets. There are prizes for the best uniform design as well as door prizes throughout the day.
