Batesville fifth graders spread holiday cheer at nursing home

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A group of Batesville students took time to spread holiday cheer at a local nursing home.

The Batesville Intermediate fifth graders are in the club called K-Kids, which promotes leadership and community involvement, and is sponsored by the Batesville Kiwanis.

The students, along with some adult musicians, sang and conducted a holiday performance for the residents at St. Andrews Health Campus.

Organizers say it was a night to remember for both the students and residents.

“The joyful sounds of the season brought smiles to everyone’s faces and truly brightened spirits. Music and the holidays came together to create a heartwarming celebration of community and cheer,” the Batesville Kiwanis said.
