New McDonald's set to open in December
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- Crews began demolishing the Batesville McDonald's to make way for a new restaurant on Monday.
The restaurant closed on August 13 to begin the construction process.
Employees were offered positions at other locations or unemployment. The store also donated some of their items to local organizations.
The new McDonald's is scheduled to open in December.
