(NASHVILLE, TN.) – Batesville graduate Emily Hicks is following her music dreams and just released a new song.
Hicks just released a song called ‘Weird Wild Wonderful You’ and she says it is about her husband.
“People my age tend to be picky when it comes to relationships, but I’ve been with my husband for more than 10 years now and truthfully, my checklist of what I want in a perfect partner completely went out the window when I met him,” Hicks said.
Emily recorded the song in Nashville and lives in Utah with her husband. She added that she wanted the song to have a mountainous and adventurous vibe.
“We accomplished this with the acoustic instrumentation and a driving percussion line,” Hicks told The 812.
Hicks plans to release her debut album in September.
