Batesville Police hiring for new officer

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Batesville Police Department is hiring for a police officer.


Those interested in the position should be at least 21, have a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, pass background checks and meet physical standards. 


The pay range for a 1st class patrolman is around $60,000 a year. 


It also offers medical, dental and vision insurance, PERF retirement, take home vehicle, 10 hour shifts with 4-day weekend every other week and longevity pay.
