Batesville Schools to host Wellness Fair on Oct. 2

Takes place at BMS

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville Schools will open their doors to the community for a wellness fair next month.

It is in collaboration with CareSource and will feature a variety of health and wellness resources and activities.

“It’s a streamlined event for vaccinations, blood pressure checks, nutritional information, Medicaid details, women’s health resources, behavioral health guidance, and dental educational materials, plus much more,” said Carli Weiler, who is the director of health services at Batesville.

Weiler added that there will be more than 40 vendors at the wellness fair.

There will also be activities such as free ice cream, face painting and door prizes.

It will take place at Batesville Middle School from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2.

Attendees may enter Door A in the front of the building or via Door L in the back, near the new gym. There is no admission fee.

“This event is a fantastic opportunity to gather valuable information and engage with local organizations dedicated to supporting our community’s health and wellness,” Weiler added.

For more information about the event, contact Weiler at cweiler@batesville.k12.in.us.
