Replaces longtime chief Todd Schutte
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Batesville Fire & Rescue didn’t have to look far for their new fire chief.
Brian Hardebeck has served as the assistant chief at the department for several years.
He assumes the role of fire chief and will replace Todd Schutte who is retiring after holding the role since 2001.
"I am happy to welcome Brian Hardebeck as our new Fire Chief. I have every confidence that he will lead our Fire Department with distinction and serve the city of Batesville honorably,” Mayor John Irrgang said.
