Will be held at the North Dearborn American Legion
(SUNMAN, Ind.) – A benefit will be held for a local couple who was injured in an out-of-state motorcycle crash this summer.
Hank and Maria Sedgebeer were severely hurt in a crash that occurred in Sturgis, South Dakota on August 10.
They were both air-cared and spent nearly two weeks in a South Dakota hospital before returning home to Southeast Indiana.
Family and friends have organized a benefit to assist with the medical expenses for Hank and Maria.
It will be held at the North Dearborn American Legion in Suman from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, November 9. The legion is located at 25329 Legion Road.
The benefit will feature raffles, live music, split the pot, food, beer and other activities.
Cash donations will also be accepted at the event or at any First Financial Bank by asking for the “Laura Walters In Care of Maria & Henry Sedgebeer” account.
