(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- A boil water advisory that was issued for customers in Greensburg and rural Decatur County has been lifted.
Officials issued the advisory after a water line break overnight Thursday. Water was restored, however, the advisory was issued as part of a requirement by the Indiana Department of Emergency Management.
The advisory was lifted Friday morning.
Decatur County Emergency Management officials ask customers to run their faucets for at least five minutes to allow water lines to flush. Run ice machine for a few cycles as well.
