One Greensburg runner became the fastest in school history
(TERRE HAUTE, Ind.) -- Some local student-athletes at the middle school level had great performances this weekend.
The Batesville Middle School girls placed second out of 55 teams during the Indiana Middle School Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute.
Some Greensburg runners such as seventh graders Eleanor Davis and Madeline Risher had historic runs on Saturday.
Risher became the fastest runner in Greensburg Junior High history.
Davis finished 22nd out of 533 girls with a new personal record on Saturday as well.
