(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- A Lawrenceburg high school student is using her talents to help children that are battling cancer.
16-year-old Kensington Harrison launched her own cupcake business this summer. All the proceeds go toward her initiative called Kensington's Krusade which collects and distributes comfort care bags to hospitals.
The young entrepreneur is dedicated to the mission as a way to honor her friend Brady Gabbard.
Gabbard passed away from a short battle with cancer in 2021.
