Team was given Key to the City
(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- The Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers made history last month when they were crowned the Class 2A Soccer State Champs.
The Tigers beat Mishawaka Marian to win the school's first-ever soccer state title.
On Monday night, Lawrenceburg Mayor Kelly Mollaun proclaimed November 19 as "Lawrenceburg Girls Soccer Team Day."
"Lawrenceburg Girls Soccer Team has brought honor to the community. The entire coaching staff, team member parents, faculty and student body were an integral part in helping the team to victory through their unwavenng support," the proclamation read.
