Crews respond to vehicle fire at Lawrenceburg car wash

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Firefighters had a quick response to a fire at a car wash in Lawrenceburg Friday afternoon. 

It started around 2:30 p.m. at a car wash next to the United Dairy Farmer's at 855 West Eads Parkway. 

It was initially dispatched as a vehicle fire but was later upgraded to a structure fire due to the close proximity to the car wash.

Crews were able to extinguish the flames within 10 minutes of arrival. Greendale and Lawrenceburg fire departments remain the scene as of 3 p.m. Friday.
