Popular fast-food chain located near Rural King
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The new Culver’s restaurant opened in Greensburg on Monday.
The first customers arrived at 5 a.m. which was five hours before the restaurant opened, owner Garrett Abrams told The 812.
It has been a steady stream of dining and drive-thru customers throughout the day.
“We served over 250 guests in the first hour, and it has been fun and busy, and the team has done a good job getting the food out quickly and accurately,” Abrams said.
The Wisconsin chain, known for its Butterburgers and frozen custard, is located at 1735 N. Broadway Street, in the parking lot of Rural King.
Abrams said he is appreciative of the Greensburg community supporting the restaurant on its first day.
“We want to be in the community, not just a restaurant in the community,” he said. “So, we look forward to partnering with local clubs and schools and helping them raise money for their organizations.”
He added that their goal is to be the best restaurant in the community, and if they make a mistake, please let them know.
Culver’s is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
The restaurant began hiring for positions this past fall.
