DCMH Foundation golf outing raises $25K for mammograms

Funds benefit the Pink Ribbon Fund

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County recently held a golf outing at North Branch called ‘Tee Off ‘Fore’ Ta-Tas’.

The outing is a fundraiser with proceeds going to the Pink Ribbon Fund, which ensures those in need can receive their essential annual mammograms at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Lohrum conveyed her appreciation to all who contributed to the event and highlighted the importance of their backing.

"We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our generous supporters of the Pink Ribbon Fund. Your contributions play a crucial role in ensuring that women in our community have access to essential mammograms. Together, we are making a significant impact in the fight against breast cancer and promoting the health and well-being of our community," Lohrum said.

The Pink Ribbon Fund has led to more than 400 mammograms and 250 procedures since 2014. It has supported 247 patients in the amount of $291,000.

Donations are welcome year-round to the Pink Ribbon Fund.
