Decatur Co. EDC hosts Reality Check for students

More than 300 local students attended the program

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- Eighth graders in Decatur County had the opportunity to learn about adulthood during Reality Check.

It was hosted by the Economic Development Corporation of Greensburg Decatur County with over 26 businesses and 47 volunteers participating.

More than 300 students from Decatur County Community Schools, St. Mary's School and Greensburg Community Schools attended.

"Students were able to simulate making home and auto purchases, vacations, cell phone plans, investments and much more to balance their checkbooks," organizers said.
