(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for the position of merit deputy.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, with no felony or disqualifying conviction such as domestic violence.
Candidates must pass a background check as well as written and physical exams.
The position has a starting salary around $53,100 with benefits as well as overtime opportunities, off-duty vehicle use, reimbursed gym membership, longevity pay and more.
