Libby and Abby were killed while walking along hiking trail

(DELPHI, Ind.) – The man convicted of killing two teenage girls in Delphi received the maximum sentence on Friday morning.

Richard Allen was found guilty by a jury last month of killing 13-year-old Abigail “Abby” Williams and 14-year-old Liberty “Libby” German in 2017.

The girls were walking along a hiking trail when they were kidnapped and later killed. Libby had posted a photo on Snapchat of Abby on the Monon High Bridge. She also recorded video of a person that would become known as “bridge guy.”

Allen was sentenced to 130 years in prison on Friday as the judge said, “"I've spent 27 years as a judge and you rank right up there with the most heinous crimes in the state of Indiana."
