Officials credit community for coming together with shared vision
(ST. LEON, Ind.) -- The Sunman-Dearborn Community School Corporation has completed their multi-year and multi-school building project.
The project included the award-winning natatorium, which hosted an IHSAA Swim Sectional.
The natatorium is also open to the public in the evening.
School officials say they're proud to complete the major project on time and under budget.
"We are proud to announce the successful completion of phase one of the building project,"
stated Dr. Andrew Jackson, Superintendent. "Our board had the vision to complete this project, without increasing our tax rate, and to continue to provide the nicest facilities in the area. This project reflects the board’s dedication to the future of our students and community."
This project stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes
together with a shared vision, Jackson added.
The next phase of their building project is expected to start late next year.
The public is encouraged to go to the Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools Facebook page or website to see more information about our schools and the project.
