Fan runs onto field during Rushville game

Goes 100 yards without being tackled or touched

(RUSHVILLE, Ind.) -- We've all seen people run on the field during professional games and get tackled by security.

You hardly ever see someone actually do it successfully... until now and it happened right here in beautiful Southeast Indiana!

Somebody DM'ed us this video on Instagram on Friday and it reminds me that I need to get better at checking messages. I didn't see this gem until Tuesday.

The Rushville fan had a complete 100-yard run without even being touched! Sign him up for the team coach.

We're not sure of his motivation but it sure sounds like the Rushville student section was proud of their classmate.

While I am sure these matters are taken much more serious in the NFL, it did make me laugh.

There are much worse things a local teen could be doing on a Friday night.

Interrupting a high school game to bring attention to your impressive 40-yard dash speed is fine by us!

Despite the shenanigans, Rushville would go on to beat Connersville 52-28 on homecoming night. It was the first time the Lions defeated the Spartans since 2019.
