T-shirt fundraiser underway
(DILLSBORO, Ind.) – A fundraiser has been launched for a local mother who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Katie Poole and her husband, Nick, live in Dillsboro and have two children who attend Milan Schools.
Katie has been heavily involved in Milan youth sports for several years.
She will begin chemotherapy treatments this week and her friends and family have launched a t-shirt fundraiser to show support for Poole.
All proceeds from the shirt sales go directly to Poole for medical expenses.
"I am so blessed with an amazing support system and am grateful to be part of the Milan community," Katie said.
