Fundraiser started for Lawrenceburg family who lost home in fire

Updated: Dec 3, 2023

A benefit account established, immediate need for clothing and other items

(LAWRENCEBURG) -- Community members are stepping up to help a family after a devastating house fire this week.

Jonathan and Megan Cole's home on Augusta Drive caught fire Wednesday afternoon and it is likely a total loss.

They are the parents of four children that range in ages from 7-years-old to 9-months old.

Fortunately, nobody was injured, however the family has lost the majority of their possessions as Christmas is just a few weeks away.

Here's How You Can Help:

A benefit account has been established for the Cole family at Civista Bank. Stop by any Civista location and ask for the benefit account associated with Megan and Jonathan Cole.

There is also an immediate need for clothing and household items. Here are the sizes for clothing that are needed:

Boys sizes: 10, 7/8and 4/5 Boys shoes: 3, 1 and 11 Toddler Girls Sizes: 12-18M.

Women's Sizes: 1x and 16/18 pants Men’s Sizes: 40/34 and 2xlt shirt

Susie Blessinger is a family member of the Cole's and says she is willing to pick up the clothing donations. God’s Bright Treasures in Bright has also offered to house any donations for the near future.

An Amazon wishlist has also been established for some of the families needs and you can view that by clicking here.
