Stopped by to say 'thank you'
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – St. Louis fifth graders had the opportunity to learn about the role first responders play in the community.
The students stopped by Batesville Fire & Rescue as well as the Batesville Police Department on October 28, which was National First Responders Day.
Both the police and firefighters received a basket of ‘goodies’ as a token of the student’s appreciation.
“Our students really seemed to enjoy this experience and getting to meet them first hand and learning more about everything they do,” the school said.
