(GREENDALE, Ind.) – We want to take a moment to spotlight a girl’s middle school team who had a stellar season.
The Greendale Middle School soccer team went 13-0 on the year and recently ended their season with a 6-0 win over Taylor.
The team is made up of 6th-8th graders and they scored a total of 84 goals this season, while giving up only five!
They were led by eighth grade captains Kori Abbott and Grace Scribner. Other key contributors included Abby Buysse, Kate Buescher, and Aubrey Burford, and goalie Cassidy Nudds.
While the current varsity Tigers are eyeing a deep run into the playoffs, it’s safe to say the future of Lawrenceburg girl’s soccer is looking bright!
