Greendale officer recognized for drunk-driving prevention

Local officer honored at Colts stadium

(INDIANAPOLIS) – A local police officer is being recognized statewide for his efforts to curb drunk driving. 

Officer Chase Stanton was honored by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute at Lucas Oil Stadium on Thursday. 

Stanton is among the top in the state for officers who arrested drivers for OWI in 2023. 

He was presented an award from former NFL kicker Adam Vinatieri. 

Greendale Police Chief Shane Slack, Sgt. Isaac Veid and Stanton’s wife joined him for the ceremony.
