Greensburg man hurt in I-74 crash Tuesday

Happened on eastbound I-74

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office has identified the person who was injured in a crash on I-74 Tuesday. 


The single-vehicle crash happened just west of Greensburg around the 130 mile marker. 


Deputies said there were off-duty Indianapolis firefighters tending to the injuries of the driver when the arrived.


The driver has been identified as Kenneth Joseph Huff, of Greensburg. Due to the extent of his injuries, he was flown by PHI 7 air ambulance to an Indianapolis hospital. 


The east and westbound lanes had to be shut down until the driver could be placed on the helicopter. 


Other agencies on scene included Greensburg Fire, Decatur County EMS and TDS Towing Service.
