Greensburg Pizza King surprises first responders Thursday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A customer of Pizza King in Greensburg came up with the idea to give back on Thursday. 

Brian Johnson was eating lunch at the restaurant when he suggested that Pizza King should deliver lunch to first responders. 

“He’s actually been asking me about it since Christmas and finally today, around 10:30 a.m., he said why don’t we just do it today,” said Pizza King owner Lisa Sizemore. 

The restaurant wasted no time and delivered 14 pizzas to agencies including Greensburg Fire, Decatur County EMS, Greensburg Police and Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. 

Lisa added that Brian isn’t the type to look for any attention and may not be too happy that this idea became public! 

The Pizza King in Greensburg has been in operation since 1975 and received some national attention earlier this year.
