Greensburg library partnering with IU researchers
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- A meeting will be held to allow residents of Decatur County to discuss their experiences with severe weather and natural disasters.
The Greensburg Decatur County Public Library is teaming up with Indiana University to host the focus group at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3.
Data that is gathered will help the IU researchers develop programs to support community preparedness for extreme weather and disasters.
Indiana University Health Behavior Ph.D. Student Megan Mulvaney will lead discussions their institutional review board has approved.
Those who are interested in participating must email Megan at mekamulv@iu.edu to register.
Participants will receive a $15 gift card and only ten spaces are available.
