Finished ninth in the state
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Greensburg Elementary accomplished a 98 percent pass rate when it came to Indiana’s state reading exam.
The scores rank the school ninth in the state and second overall in southeast Indiana.

This achievement reflects the strength of our community and the bright future ahead for our students,” “This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire school community—students, teachers, staff, and families alike,” GES Intermediate Principal Mary Beth Meyer said.
Superintendent Tom Hunter added, “I am proud of our administration and faculty's work in creating lifelong readers. We are happy but never satisfied with these kinds of results. A 98% pass rate on I READ3 is a testament to the exceptional work we do in our schools each day.”
