Items being accepted until October 31
(BRIGHT, Ind.) – A group of locals are planning to make a second trip to help the victims of Hurricane Helene.
Dillon Wells, of Brookville, and some friends came up with the idea to go to western North Carolina and there were 18 people who went on the initial trip.
The group which is primarily from the Bright area, decided one trip wasn’t enough.
“We are going down with heavy equipment and tools to help people out of driveways, rebuild back roads, get to people stuck on mountains and whatever else in between,” Wells said.
They are requesting donations ahead of their second trip. We have a list of items they are collecting below.
There are drop off spots in Harrison, Sunman and Bright. If you would like to donate, you can call Dillon at (513) 315-4681 or Megan at (513) 518-4708 to find your location.
I am a plaintiff in an upcoming lawsuit against the construction company that built a house in Florida without following the certain safety rules. As a result of such, my grandmother received injuries in a recent hurricane. I found here the list of needed locations to accurately calculate medical expenses before doing so. And I think I will go for it.
