Had a breakout season for the Boilers
(COLUMBUS, OH.) – Dearborn County’s Max Klare is transferring from Purdue to Ohio State.
Klare is a Guilford native who was a two-sport star at St. Xavier High School. He made the transfer announcement on his Instagram page on Tuesday.
He has been listed as the top tight end in the NCAA transfer portal after putting up big numbers for the Boilers in 2024.
Klare led Purdue with 51 catches for 685 yards and four touchdowns.
He told ESPN that one the main factors of transferring to Ohio State is head coach Ryan Day’s history of developing players.
