Here are football sectional pairings in Southeast Indiana

(SOUTHEAST INDIANA) -- Local high school football teams found out Sunday who they will face in the Sectionals which begins on Friday, October 20.

The pairings were announced ahead of the final regular season week this Firday.

All the matchups are listed below:

SECTIONAL 23

This sectional features three local teams which are East Central, Connersville and Jennings County.

East Central will face Shelbyville in the Sectional 23 bracket The winner will face either Martinsville or Silver Creek.

Connersville drew Greenwood Community and the winner will face either Jennings County or Edgewood.

SECTIONAL 31

Features six local teams including Batesville, Franklin County, Lawrenceburg, Greensburg, South Dearborn and Rushville.

• Lawrenceburg will face Centerville (winner faces Bulldogs or Lions)

• Batesville will play Rushville (winner faces Tigers or Centerville)

• Franklin County will face South Dearborn (winner faces Pirates or Indian Creek)

• Greensburg drew Indian Creek (winner faces Wildcats or Knights)

SECTIONAL 46

Features three local teams including Milan, North Decatur and South Decatur

The Civil War game will be held in the playoffs! North Decatur and South Decatur were drawn to play each other in the first round of the playoffs. Winner will face Edinburgh.

Milan drew Cambridge City Lincoln (winner faces either Knightstown or Tri)

SECTIONAL 39

Features one local team, the Switzerland County Pacers

• Switzerland County drew Brown County. The winner will face either Eastern (Pekin) or Christal House.
