Absentee voting starts Tuesday
(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – The last day to register to vote or to transfer your registration is Monday, April 8.
You can register to vote online at Indianavoters.in.gov or by visiting your local county clerks office by 4 p.m. Monday.
Voters can submit an absentee primary election ballot beginning on Tuesday, April 9.
We spoke with the Franklin County Clerk’s Office who are sharing their hours and information.
April 9 thru April 12 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
April 15 thru April 19 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
April 22 thru April 26 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
April 29 thru May 3 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 25th and Thursday, May 2nd voting hours will be extended until 7 p.m. Saturday hours/locations are as follows:
April 27th 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
May 4th 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
You can vote at the Clerk’s Office or Ignite (Church on Fire) in Batesville, or the New Trenton Volunteer Fire Department.
Monday, May 6 at noon is the last day to vote an absentee ballot before the absentee voter board in the Clerk’s Office.
Those voters who wish to vote by mail or have the traveling board come to their house to vote, may contact the Clerk’s office for an Absentee Ballot Application.
