(ST. MARY’S) – The public is invited to bring their jeeps or side-by-side’s for an annual ride that starts in Franklin County.
The ride is in honor of 23-year-old Luke Schwegman, of St. Mary’s, who lost his life to suicide in 2021.
“Of course this is ride is about our son, who loved razor riding, and being outside, but it is also to help others and to prevent suicide,” said his mother, Margie, during the inaugural ride last year.
All of the proceeds from the ride will go to Stop The Stigma suicide prevention organization.
Those who want to attend can meet at St. Mary’s of the Rock Church at 12 p.m. with the ride leaving at 1 p.m.
Margaret Mary Health's Stop The Stigma 5K will take place at the Margaret Mary Outpatient & Cancer Center at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Saturday 14.
