New truck purchased through grants
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- Kids Discovery Factory (KDF) is expanding their programming with their own truck that will provide mobile programming.
KDF has a mobile factory that travels around Southeast Indiana with STEAM exhibits for students in preschool through eighth grade.
The Mobile Factory had previously relied on rental trucks to visit regional schools and organizations.
The non-profit has purchased their own box truck after receiving grants from the Rising Sun Regional Foundation and the Decatur County Community Foundation.
“This truck has been a dream of ours for six years. It’s incredible to see regional foundations coming together to support this project- we are so grateful for their support! Having a dedicated vehicle for our mobile programming is a game changer," said KDF executive director Emili Uden.
