(BRIGHT, Ind.) -- The 812 is expanding operations by hiring minors to report the news.

We usually seek kids who are willing to work aggressive hours for little-to-no pay, if you know anybody.

But, we're happy to announce we've discovered a gem right here in Bright, Indiana.

8-year-old Luna DeBruler didn't even request money in return for work. Just snacks.

Long story short, after budget restructuring, we reviewed her application and said yes to her demands.

Luna is making her debut today by providing safety tips for trick-or-treaters when they're out with their families on Halloween.

She will certainly be back on The 812 soon for another Kids Report!
