Lawrenceburg’s Knigga receives award from ex-NFL player Antonio Brown

Happened during inaugural awards show

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg standout football player is getting national attention once again after going viral earlier this year.

Noah Knigga garnered internet fame because of his unique name and the sudden popularity is something that the senior has fully embraced.

He caught the attention of former Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown who is known for being outspoken, sometimes making controversial comments on social media.

Brown has spoken about chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) after violent hits he had taken in the NFL.

He has since created a platform called CTESPN, serving as a mockery of ESPN, while discussing sports.

On Friday night, he hosted the first annual CTESPN Awards on X/Twitter.

He named Knigga as the inaugural "CTESPN Athlete of the Year."

Noah responded by saying, “We did it! Honored to have received such an award!”

Other people who were nominated or appeared on the awards show included President Joe Biden, former U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, Nascar driver Mark Martin, comedian Shane Gillis and others.

Knigga recently held his official signing to continue his football career at Eastern Michigan University.
