Lawrenceburg woman's 2005 murder featured on national TV

“This isn’t the Brady Bunch family — this marriage was falling apart"

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.)  – A crime documentary that aired nationally this past weekend dove into the murder of a Lawrenceburg woman.

34-year-old Melissa Henderson was found deceased in her bed in the summer of 2005.

Her death was initially thought to be from natural causes, but her husband later admitted to ‘blacking out’ and strangling her to death.

The husband, Bill, was sentenced to 65 years in prison. Melissa’s family member said, “There was no remorse. No emotion. No nothing. Only thing he was sorry for was that he got caught."

The Oxygen Network aired the documentary this past weekend and you can watch and read more about Melissa’s death by clicking here.
