(SOUTHEAST IND.) - The IHSAA announced football sectional pairings on Sunday night.
Here's who local teams will face in the first round, which will be on October 25:
Class 1A Sectional 47:
Milan will face Knightstown.
South Decatur will host West Washington.
The winners of those two games will play each other.
North Decatur will play Edinburgh.
The winner will play either Eastern Greene or Greenwood Christian the next week.
Class 2A Sectional 40
Switzerland County has a big test during the opening round of sectionals. The Pacers will host top-ranked Brownstown Central.
The winner will play Eastern (Pekin) or Paoli the following week.
Class 3A Sectional 30:
This sectional is chalked full of our local teams!
This might be the game of the week on October 25:
Rushville will battle Franklin County in Brookville.
The winner will play Batesville, as the Bulldogs received a first round bye.
Greensburg will host Purdue Polytechnic-Downtown.
South Dearborn and Lawrenceburg's rivalry will continue into the playoffs as they'll face each other in the first round.
That winner will play the winning team from the Greensburg game.
Class 5A Sectional 14
East Central will play Seymour. The winner will face Columbus East or Franklin Community the following week.
