Mason Parris wins gold at Pan-Am Wrestling Championships

Lawrenceburg native wins second Pan-Am title

(ACAPULCO, MX.) – Lawrenceburg native Mason Parris earned a gold medal at the Pan-American Wrestling Championship this past weekend. 

Parris competed in the 125 kg division and went 3-0 for Team USA at the tournament in Acapulco, Mexico. 

Parris and his Team USA teammates combined for 29 medals. 

He is a Lawrenceburg graduate who went on to have a storied career for the University of Michigan. 

Parris won the NCAA heavyweight title to cap off his 33-0 senior season for the Wolverines in 2023.
