Men accused of stealing $9K worth of copper, tools from Seymour business

Alleged theft happened on October 4

(SEYMOUR, Ind.) – Two men are accused of stealing copper and other items from a Seymour business. 


Authorities investigated a burglary that occurred at Seymour Home Products on October 4.


Investigators say $9,000 worth of copper wire, rolls of copper and battery powered tools were taken from the business. 


Police arrested 28-year-old Colin Erwin and 45-year-old Michael Miller, both of Seymour, in connection to the burglary. 


“Investigators did recover some of the stolen property during the investigation.  The investigation is ongoing,” said Seymour Police Officer C.J. Foster.
