Fundraiser continues to make it a reality
(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) -- A demolition crew tore down the three buildings that have housed 4-H projects for decades in Brookville on Friday.
It's part of a project to build a new Expo Hall at the Franklin County Fairgrounds
The proposed new exhibit hall will be an 84' x 160' indoor facility that will go beyond the scope of 4-H week.
"We'll have our extension office come over and host events, it also will be rented out to the general public for fundraising initiatives, weddings and even as an emergency shelter in times of need," said Franklin County Fair Board vice president Brian Baxter.
To make it a reality, close to $100,000 still needs to be raised to make it happen.
