North Decatur grads launch fundraiser for classmate killed in crash

Funds will support her surviving children

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – North Decatur’s Class of 2007 is honoring a classmate who suddenly passed away in a car crash this past weekend.

36-year-old Natalie (Volk) Rennekamp, and her unborn daughter, Clarrisa, passed away after a crash near Enochsburg on Friday.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit her sons, Cletus, Elmer, Harold and Garrett.

Alexandria Arbuckle was a classmate of Natalie’s who organized the fundraiser along with other North Decatur alumni.

“Natalie was a cherished classmate, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Even those who hadn’t spoken with her in years could see how hard she worked to provide for her family and how much her children meant to her,” Arbuckle said.
