Pacers soccer players give backpacks to kids

(VEVAY, Ind.) -- Switzerland County Lady Pacers soccer players are giving back to the community ahead of the season.

The team has partnered with the Vevay Media Group to collect and distribute free backpacks to children in need.

They collected new and gently used backpacks which are available this week at the newspaper office at 111 West Market Street in Vevay.

Any remaining backpacks will be available for pickup during Movie In The Park at Ogle Park at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 5.
