Police: Drugs, guns found after report of a wreck in Jennings Co.

Police say they found a bottle of Bromazolam.

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – A call to police about a possible wreck led to the arrest of one person on drug charges in Jennings County.

It happened on December 28 at the intersection of County Road 20 South and County Road 700 West.

A witness saw what appeared to be a vehicle that was off the roadway and up against a tree.

“While enroute the caller informed dispatch that the male driver was attempting to leave in the vehicle,” police said.

Deputies arrived and said the investigation revealed that an accident did not occur and the driver was not hurt.

However, police did become suspicious of the driver. A K-9 was deployed and police say it gave a positive alert of narcotics inside the vehicle.

According to deputies, there were more than 100 unprescribed pills and two guns inside the vehicle.

Police added that they also found a bottle of Bromazolam.

“Bromazolam is an extremely deadly substance that is commonly used to enhance the effects of Fentanyl and is resistant to Naloxone (Narcan) effects,” police said.

23-year-old Grant Stuckwisch, of Seymour, was arrested and charged with Dealing and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
