Possible tornado touched down near Brookville Monday

The damage occurred around 6:30 p.m. Monday

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) -- A line of strong storms may have produced a small tornado in Brookville early Monday evening.


The impacted area is Garr Hill Road and Pea Ridge Road near Mounds State Recreation Park.


Photos provided by the Facebook group Weather Wave as well as Gayle Harnishfeger show at least one damaged home and several downed trees.


The National Weather Service is expected to conduct a survey to confirm whether the damage was a result of a tornado.
